Experiment in Fashion at Woodhorn
Experiments in Fashion has received a fantastic response since its launch in July 2008.
Young designers, aged 15-25yrs, were supported by tutors from London College of Fashion and international designer Wayne Hemingway to create exciting and innovative designs inspired by the landscape and architecture of the six market towns within Northumberland – Alnwick, Amble, Berwick, Haltwhistle, Seahouses and Wooler.
Following on from the exhibition at the Biscuit Factory in May and the tour of Northumberland in July, the collection was showcased at Woodhorn Museum, Archives and Country park attracting an audience of over 5000 visitors.
Due to popular demand the exhibition is curently on show at The Alnwick Garden, where many of the designs were inspired by, until Friday 19th February.
